Vermicilli /semiya cooked in creamy coconut milk with the chunks of banana that melts in mould in every bite….. This is one of my favourite recipe cooked by my mom..It can also be prepared quickly..

- 11/2 cup semiya (vermicilli)
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cardomom powder
- 2 banana Big(yethanpazham/nethrapazham)
- 3 tbsps ghee
- 1 cup water

Instructions
- Roast the semiya in 1 tsp ghee then add in 3 cups water and cook till 90% done and strain it...pour a cold water over it and keep aside.
- chop the banana into small pieces .banana used should be ripe and sweet.
- In another pan add ghee ,chopped banana,saute well.
- Then add in coconut milk , sugar ,Cardomom powder mix well.
- Add the cooked vermicilli and mix well and cook for 2 minutes until its thick to pouring consistency.
- Garnish with fried nuts of your choice.
Recipe Notes
- coconut milk powder dissolved in warm water can also be added instead of milk......
- It can be served hot or cold....
