Karahi chicken

karahi chicken are very popular Pakistani dish noted for its spicy taste. The Pakistani version does not have capsicum or onions whereas its also made in indianized way but that has capsicum in it.Today this karahi chicken is pakistani version . It is said that only one utensil is required to cook this dish and that is a karahi(wok).

  1. In a pan add oil ginger garlic paste(2:1) that means ginger should be more than garlic.saute till raw smell goes .
  2. Then add chicken pieces and fry till its colour changes then add tomato paste ( ifnot you can add 2 pureed tomatoes)
  3. Add greenchilli ,redchilli powder ,jeera powder and salt mix it well and cook till oil floats.
  4. Then add curd mix it for 1 min then add crushed kasurimethi and coriander leaves...
  5. It goes well with naan roti and rice
