wheat parotta is a layered parotta made with wholewheat flour…Its also called Laccha parotta. This wheat parotta is made with egg that makes it soft and adddition of ghee makes it flaky..we all love parotta but maida parotta is not healthy .In health point of view this parotta is best..I have tried a lot of way to make this parotta soft but in vain it will become hard after sometime…but this one trust me it is super soft… even after long just heat in tawa and serve it will be soft…

- In a bowl add wheat flour ,salt, baking powder and sugar mix it well .
- Then add yoghurt , egg and knead to soft dough with luke warm water. keep aside for 1 hour.
- Divide the dough into medium sized balls then roll each ball into very thin chapathi.spread the mixture of oil and butter then cut into strips and form a pinwheel,slightly press and apply oil on top and keep aside
- Then roll each pinwheels into a circle. donot add flour anymore..
- Heat a pan and add the parotta and cook on both sides and keep aside
- After making 2 to 3 stack it and using your hands,just press the sides forcefully when the parotas are hot.Do it like clapping the hands by keeping the parottas in between. this will help in seperating the layers and making it soft and flaky...
