Ingredients
- 1/2 +1/2 cup Semiya/vermicilli
- 3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/3 cup condensed milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp ghee
Instructions
- In a pan add ghee, roast the 1/2 cup semiya then keep aside .Then to that add the plain unroasted semiya and mix well.
- In pan add sugar ,water and caramilise it until golden brown then add in butter and mix well.when its melted all add in condensed milk and mix well.
- Add in Milk and mix well and boil then add in semiya and cook till done.
- To prepare caramel crisp , Caramelise sugar and water until golden brown and add in cashew chopped and mix well.. Brush the foil paper with ghee then add in the caramel mix and cool it..
- when its cooled well crush it and garnish on semiya payasam while serving..
