Tender chicken Fritters is a crispy ,cheesy snack with the combination of bite size chicken pieces and cheese.The cheese in the batter forms part of the outer crust snd makes it crisp.
Again I am back with blogging marathon after long time its BM #82 edition and the theme I have selected is ‘Bite size appetizers’. So from today continuous 3 days I will be posting 3 appetizer for this event..
These fritters are easy to prepare and flavorful. you get a cheesy effect in each bite.only time required is to marinate for sometime.Marinating the chicken makes it tender and juicy. Marinate 2 hours or overnight. we just have to mix all the ingredients.
You can add cornstarch instead of plain flour If you want avoid using flour…but today’s recipe I tried with plain flour. Also you can substitute with any herb of your choice I have used mixed herb here also I have added coriander leaves to it .it can be substituted with dil leaves, basil etc.
Tender chicken Fritters
Ingredients
- 3 large chicken breast
- 2 eggs
- 5 tbsp mayonaise
- 1/3 cup plain flour
- 1 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves/dill leaves
- 1 1/3 cup shreded mozrella cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Instructions
- Dice the chicken breast into small bite size pieces
- Combine together egg ,mayonaise,coriander leaves , cheese ,mixed herbs,flour,salt and pepper . stir until well combined
- Then add in the diced chicken cubes to the batter and marinate .
- Heat oil in a pan.add the chicken mixture a heaping Tbsp at a time (I used a flat ice cream scoop). Pat down fritters with the back of your spoon to flatten slightly.
- cook both sides till golden brown.
- serve with your favourite dip.
