rose rolls
Rose shaped  rolls with chicken filling and baked. tasty yummy and good alternative to the samosa during Ramadan.

  1. To prepare chicken filling
  2. In a pan add oil , choppedonion , g+gpaste , all the powders cook till raw smell is gone then add the cooked chicken saute well then finally add coriander leaves
  3. To prepare dough
  4. In a bowl mix together flour , salt , yeast , egg , milk , oil ,sugar with little warm water and knead into a soft dough and allow it to rise for 1 hr
  5. STEP 1: Divide the dough and shape them into neat balls.
  6. STEP 2:. Roll out each ball to small circle
  7. STEP 3: Brush a bit of butter on the circle of dough. Make 4 diagonal slits, leaving the center intact.
  8. STEP 4: Add your filling in the center.
  9. STEP 5: Take one of the sections and cover the side of the filling with it.
  10. STEP 6: Take the opposite side’s section and cover the other side of the filling with it.
  11. STEP 7 8: Repeat with the two last sections.
  12. STEP 9: Pinch the dough on the side to seal it.
  13. Repeat until all rose-rolls are ready.
  14. STEP 10: Place the prepared rolls on a greased tray.
  15. STEP 11: Pre-heat your oven to 180 C. Brush each rose gently with egg yolk mixed with a tsp of milk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  16. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until tops are golden and rolls are ready.
  17. STEP 12: Remove and brush them with melted butter. Keep them covered until time of serving so they stay soft.
