In a big pan add oil and ghee then add the chopped onion cook till soft then add ginger garlic paste saute till raw smell is gone then add greenchilli and tomato cook till thy are mushy then add biriyani masala/garam masala , redchilli powder,turmeric powder and saute till oil floats on top then add chicken pieces and dalt accordingly .close the lid and coom till 90% done as remaining it will cook with rice.
