Caramel Cake
Its the cake with caramel flavor and a caramel icing ,so soft and that too with the icing its so delicious melts in your mouth…making the caramel is the trickiest part.if you dont make it right it will crystalize very soon  and this cake totally depends on the caramel.of course experienced  cooks

  1. MAKING OF CARAMEL
  2. Heat half cup sugar with 1 tsp of water and let it melt until completely golden brown and bubbling.add 2tsp extra hot water to it and stir well.turn off heat and keep aside
  3. cream butter and sugar until smooth.add one egg at a time and beat until ivory in colour,then add vanilla essence
  4. Sieve the flour and baking powder and add to the above mix
  5. Then add caramel sauce prepared above and beat the batter until smooth .sometimes there is a chance the caramelwill still crystalize looking like bits of caramel but its ok beat till smooth
  6. butter the baking pann and dust with 1tsp flour so that sides dont stick. pour in batter and bake @180 degree for 30 mins
  7. PREPARE THE ICING
  8. whip the whipping cream till peaks the add the caramel sauce prepared as same in above procedure and add to it( as i have not added the measurements for caramel sauce for icing…) beat till smooth
  9. take out the cake from oven allow it cool then decorate with icing and enjoy serving……
