This No Bake Dates Brownies are super rich fudgy, healthy high protein bar with dates and nuts topped with chocolate ganache. These are gluten free , fudgy and chocolaty and no baking is required and easy to make.
Brownies are everyone favourite and delicious so when it is in made in healthy version it would be much better..
These brownies are easy to make with just 3 ingredients..Main ingredient used is dates that give fudgy texture and coco powder gives a chocolaty taste with the crunch of nuts.. I would say that each bar will be a protein packed bite.
I came across this recipe in you tube when I was searching for the recipe with dates… As do I have low haemoglobin count I need to take dates regularly but bored of having it alone… This recipe is power packed I have adjusted the ingredients according to me and it came out really well .Now it has become my snack bar.. I prepare this store in air tight container for 2 week.
Layer of chocolate ganache makes it more chocolaty and tasty too… You can avoid the chocolate ganache and have as such that would also be a good option.. but I felt that having these brownies with chocolate layer makes more tasty ..
so here comes an easy No bake brownies prepared with less ingredient.

No Bake Dates Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup Nuts (I have used Almonds you can use any nuts of your choice)
- 1 cup soft dates
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a food processor blend the nuts to coarse powder
- Add the chopped dates and cocoa powder and blend it well until mixture comes together in a ball
- If you find that the mixture is too dry, you can add a date or two more. If you find the mixture too sticky, blitz up a couple more nuts and add it to the date-nut mixture, until you are able to touch the dough without it sticking to your fingers.
- Spoon the dough out onto a piece of parchment paper or greased foil and press it into a large square about 1/2 an inch thick.
- To make the ganache combine softened butter, cocoa powder and powdered sugar until agreeable consistency. If it is loose then add more powdered sugar.
- Spread the ganache on top of brownies and a set aside .
- Cut into squares and serve
Recipe Notes
