A middle Eastern delicacy Kunafa served in different form with Italian touch…Crispy kunafa layered with creamy coffee flavoured Italian dessert resulting in Kunafa Tiramisu
Happy new year to all my viewers…Last year was fantastic for me Alhmdhulila….This New year post me and my blogger friend Shazia is blogging together .we have selected one ingredient and we came up with two different simple Recipes..The Ingredient we have selected is ‘KUNAFA’
So Today my version of kunafa is ‘Tiramisu Kunafa’ An italian dessert influnced kunafa.. usually Kunafa is baked but here its simple version can be prepared within 10 minutes…easy peasy recipe ..crispy ,roasted kunafa dough soaked with coffee sugar syrup layered with coffee flavoured cream mixture.

Kunafa Tiramisu
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese/cream cheese
- 1 sachet whipping powder
- 1/4 cup cold milk
- 1 tbsp water mixed with 1 tsp coffee powder
- 1 cup shredded kunafa
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tbsp crushed pistachio
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp water mixed with 1 tsp coffee powder
Instructions
- Beat together cheese,whipping powder,cold milk until soft peaks are formed..Then add in coffee mixture ,mix well and refrigerate until use.
- To prepare coffee flavoured sugar syrup Boil together sugar,water,and coffee mix unti its syrupy and thick.
- In a pan add melted butter and Kunafa dough ,roast till crispy and golden brown...Crush it if needed to be small.
- In a serving glass, layer with kunafa ,soak with sugar syrup then layer again with cream mixture top with kunafa dough again soak with syrup..finally garnish with crushed pistachio...
