My kids love to have nutella with everything they eat they even eat with poori… Their were many news about nutella that it’s not safe but I donno whether its true or not…but gave it a try at home and at least can he satisfied that its healthy and fresh….
It’s just simple methods to make the nutella at home…
we need just
- Hazelnut
- melted milk chocolate
- Any flavorless oil (hazelnut oil if you have)
- cocoa powder
- icing sugar
- vanilla essence
we need to roast the hazelnut then remove the skin as it may give a bitter taste …one of the easiest method to remove is just rub the toasted hazelnut between the cloth it gets off easily… Then grind it to a smooth paste.Always make it to smooth paste and not grainy as you wont get the smooth texture of hazelnut as you get in shops..
It also calls for melted chocolate I have used semisweet milk chocolate . The milk chocolate gives a level of sweetness most similar to packaged Nutella and cocoa powder gives more chocolaty taste to it.. I have used canola oil in this recipe but you can also use hazelnut oil if you have….
Icing sugar used may vary from 1/3 to 1/2cup depending upon the sweetness and milk chocolate used . Addition of sugar gives a thicker consistency to nutella..
