It is an elegant classic French no-bake layered crepe cake consisting of 20 layers of paper thin crepes, each separated with a brush of thick cream.
These crepes are lighter and resemble in having a piece of cake..I wanted to try out these for long time but I couldn’t get a chance go try out. This week I wanted to make a cake but the oven got repaired and disappointed so thought why not try these cake which is no bake…this might be little time consuming as you need to prepare each crepe and layer it…usually these cake are made with 20 layers and its called mille feuille cake which means thousand sheets or layers implying many layers of crepes.I have frosted with the white and pink cream and also tried to give double shades in layering the crepes with cream.You can make these cake in various flavour like can use chocolate crepes , hazelnut crepes to your taste.
Crepe cake ~No bake layered cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
- Beat eggs and sugar until pale
- Stir in vegetable oil and butter
- Add flour and milk alternatively and prepare thin batter and make thin crepes..
- whip the whipping cream until soft peaks ard formed. gradually add in sugar while whisking
- Then add vanilla essence.mix it well then take 1/2 of the filling to a seperaye bowl and ads a pink colour and keep aside
- layer each crepe with filling in between with pink filling in center and white surrounding it. Then finally cover the cake eith remaining frosting and make patterns.
