Crème caramel flan, or caramel pudding is a custard dessert with a layer of soft caramel on top which can be baked or steamed
Instructions
- For caramel add the sugar to a pan and cook until it s brown colour add hot water and mix well to form the caramel sauce then pour this inyo the individual ramekins
- boil the milk and keep aside to cool
- In a mixie add milk , sugar, vanilla essence , eggs and beat well then strain it and add to the ramekins
- while adding milk mixture caramel seems dissolving but ok while cooking it get settled
- fill the big baking tray/dish with waterthwn keep the ramekins in it and bake at 180xb0c for 40 -45 mins until it is set
- Allow it to cool and refrigerate it .
- while serving turn it round on to the plate with caramel on the top .....
