Chilli Chicken Roast ,an easy to make spicy dry dish with less ingredients. Chicken is marinated and sauted in a crushed small onion greenchilli mixture and roasted.
Yesterday in my Facebook page I have posted a poll asking what should I post today whether a dessert /cake or a veg/non veg recipe many of them voted for veg/non veg… thank you all who voted and showed your response… so.here I am with a easy to make chicken roast .it’s chilli chicken roast. spicy dry dish which can be eaten as such or served with continents… Spiciness is mainly from greenchilli… and also flavour of small onions which enhance the dish.. Addition of soy sauce at the end gives a charred colour on roasting..If you Want to make it a semi dry then u can increase the amount of onion and make it semi dry and dont dry roast it.Today I made it into a dry dish and served for ghee rice with mutton curry..

Chilli Chicken Roast
Ingredients
- 500 gm chicken with bone
- 1 onion
- 1 greenchilli slit
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- curry leaves
- 2 tbsp oil
- 12 shallots
- 5 greenchilli slit
- 2 piece ginger
- 10 pods garlic
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with redchilli powder, salt and lemon juice for 30 minutes
- Grind together the ingredients given under" To grind" coarsely
- In a pan add oil , onion chopped , curry leaves and slit greenchilli saute for a while then add the grind masala and cook till oil seperates
- Add the marinated chicken to masala and mix well until it's coated well and cook till done
- When all the water has evaporated add in soy sauce and roast it till dry and charred..
- If you need the semi gravy then add extra one onion and water to make it semi gravy and donor roast it till dry.
