Chicken tikka puff is commonly seen but if you have bored of having a regular puff of triangle or square shape this would be really a change …Here puff pastry is rolled into large rectangles if you dont have single sheet pastry then you can use small 6 squares joined to make a rectangle…Inside filling i have used is my pan fried chicken tikka recipe.topped with cheese and mayo spread rolled into circle and baked into perfection..

Chicken Tikka Puff Ring
Ingredients
- 500 gm boneless chicken
- 2 tbsp ginger garlicpaste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp redchilli powder
- 3/4 cup hung curd/yoghurt
- 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 2 tbsp gram flour
- 1/2 tsp ajwain
- salt to taste
- oil /butter for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with ingredients for Chicken Tikka for 2 hours
- Then pan fry in with butter / oil until golden brown and charred ...
- roll the puff pastry into rectangles by joining 3 sheets vertically and again adding vertically making 3 rows and 2 column .join both sets and make a rectangle
- If you are single pastry sheet roll them into rectangles
- use a knife, to cut thin strips all the way up to 2/3 of the length of the pastry.
- Spread the mixture of mayonaise and redchilli sauce to uncut end of the pastry sheet then layer with chicken tikka pieces , top with mozrella cheese.
- Roll them tightly and cover with strips all over .
- Then form into circle and seal the edges..
- Transfer to the baking tray brush with beaten egg and top with mozrella cheese
- Bake in pre heated oven @200 °c for 20 -25 minutes until it's cooked ,crispy and golden brown.
