Chicken satay – grilled chicken skewers marinated with spices and served with peanut sauce.
Its time for MFB challenge and this is the 5th challenge .The challenge is to try a recipe from Indonesian cuisine… After hearing this I have browsed on their cuisine and found a huge variety of dish which are quite easy to make with less ingredients…I have shortlisted some of the recipes like rendang ,martabak mania, goreng which I will sure try it soon.
And for today’s challenge I have selected Chicken satay served with Peanut sauce… satay is one of the street food of Indonesia.. Chicken is marinated in spice and grilled and is served with spicy peanut sauce … I must say that this sauce is so tasty and spicy I loved the taste and flavour … The recipe calls for sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) its Indonesian soy sauce As I don’t have U have added normal soy sauce with pinch of sugar…if you have it then it’s great..
