A quick and easy to make channa combined with soft crispy baure.
Channa Bature
Channa Bature Recipe by Asheera Haja
Ingredients
- 1 cup maida
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- salt
- water
- sugar
- CHANNA MASALA
- 1 1/2 cups channa cooked
- 2 onion big finely chopped
- 2 Greenchilli
- 2 tsps ginger garlicpaste
- 2 tomato (blanched) pureed
- 1 tbsp redchilli powder
- 2 tbsps coriander powder
- 2 tsps garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- coriander leaves
- 2 tbsps ghee oil +
Instructions
- mix together yoghurt baking powder ,salt and sugar then add to the flour and knead into soft dough with water and keep aside for 4 hours.. then roll and fry it
- soak channa overnight and pressure cook it till done .frm this take channa and grind it to paste 3tbsps
- In a pan add oil+ghee ,gingergarlicpaste,onion cook till raw smell goes then add greenchilli,redchillipowder,corianderpowder,turmericpowder,and saute well then add pureed tomatoes(boil the tomato in water then peel of outer skin and grind to paste) cook till oil get seperated then add garam masala powder , crushed kasoorimethi salt , channa paste , cooked channa and boil for mins finally add coriander leaves 5
