Dates and Oats Energy balls

 

A Quick no bake recipe with dates and oats which is perfect for on the go healthy snacking..

Dates and oats, are a fantastic source of energy as well as fibre. They taste naturally sweet which makes them an ideal healthy alternative to sugary sweets…

 

Dates are high source of iron too and has more health benefits..Actually this recipes is specially made for me because i have iron deficiency so i need to take a lot of dates but i dont like having dates alone because of the tooth issues…so thinking of how to take in so came up with this recipe..I prepared it with oats and crushed nuts both are good very good for health …it came out well that it became a snacking item at home…when feel hungry just pop up one ball u feel satisfied…. as it is sugarfree /no added sugar its good for health too….now am happy that i have got a new snacking bites and also booster for my deficiency…

Here i have added cashewnuts , walnuts, and badam you can add as ur wish ….if you want you can also adda tbsp of peanut butter too that gives a different taste..also you try out with adding a tbsp of coco powder thatgives a chocolaty taste…insha allah will try to do these also and post soon

  1. Dry roast the oats until nice aroma comes (not browned).then powder it
  2. chop the dates into smallpieces or just crush it .Then add the powdered oats ,crushed walnuts, almonds give it a good mix add ghee to it and make balls of it and store in air tight container and go on snacking when needed...
NOTE
  1. You can adjust the addition of oats powder according to the dates..until all comes together.. amount of oats may vary depending upon the type of dates used..so u can add until it form a non sticky mass..and able to shape into ball...
